Ambrosia a cappella

Eine große Leidenschaft für das Singen, viele Jahre Erfahrung und das ständige Streben nach höchster Qualität - das ist es, was die 6 Sänger*innen von "Ambrosia a cappella" verbindet.

Vom ausgebildeten Sänger über Dirigent bis hin zum Komponisten, jedes Mitglied der Gruppe hat seine eigenen, starken Wurzeln in der Welt der Musik. Jeder bringt seine eigene Kompetenz ein, was zu einem aufregenden musikalischen Mix führt. Ein herausfordernder Jazz-Song, mystische Klangwelten, weltbekannte Popsongs in neuem Gewand, Improvisationen, Vocal Percussion; Ambrosia zeigt all diese Facetten.

Ambrosia a cappella wurde im März 2018 gegründet und gab noch im August des gleichen Jahres das erste öffentliche Konzert: eine Zusammenarbeit mit der Guus Tangelder Bigband im Luxue Theater in Arnheim. Im Dezember sang die Gruppe beim internationalen Aarhus Vocal Festival vor und wurde prompt einer der sechs Finalisten.

2019 wurde Ambrosia eingeladen um am in der Königsklasse des hoch angesehenen Dutch BALK TOPfestival im Oktober teilzunehmen​.

2020 machte die Gruppe ihre ersten Promo-Aufnahmen bei kh music in Utrecht (Audio) und De Tempelhof in Winssen (Video).

Infinite passion for singing, many years of experience and a crave for quality; this is what binds the six singers of Ambrosia a cappella. From vocalist to the conductor to composer, every member has its
own solid roots in the world of music. They all bring in their own expertise, with an exciting musical mix as a result. A challenging jazz song, mystical sound palettes, famous pop songs in fresh new
versions, improvisation, vocal percussion; Ambrosia does it all.

Ambrosia a cappella was founded in March 2018 and gave it’s first public concert in August of that year: a collaboration with the Guus Tangelder Bigband in Luxor Theatre, Arnhem. In December, the
group auditioned for the international Aarhus Vocal Festival and became one of the six finalists in May.
2019. Later that year Ambrosia was invited to participate in the highest category of the reputable Dutch BALK TOPfestival, which took place in October 2019. In February 2020 the group recorded their first promo at kh music in Utrecht (audio) and De Tempelhof in Winssen (video).
